PREREQUISITE: EDUC1010, GRADE OF C OR BETTER
This course will focus on the foundations of PreK-4 education and explore the different learning environments that are optimal for young children. Students will gain insight into the philosophy and objectives of the PreK-4 curriculum and be introduced to theories and instructional
strategies that can be used in teaching the various subject areas. The course will provide an overview of relevant content for educating students from preschool through grade four.
